MAKES MORE POWER THAN BORGO 10.4 PISTONS (For STREET PERFORMANCE ONLY*)

Fits all 2.0 105/115 engines. It has been established that “Motronic” Pistons make more horsepower because of the flat top dome. The obsolete conical dome spreads the combustion chamber mixture over a wider area. The flame front does not reach the circumference at high RPM. The flat top design with wide shoulders gathers the charge under the spark plug for more complete combustion. Because of this feature, the Motronic 10:1 pistons make more power than the conical dome 10.4:1 compression Borgo pistons. Runs on 89-93 octane pump gas!

Our customers have had good results for street performance applications. Gotta remember that all OEM style pistons are cast, not forged and not  balanced to race specs. High performance racing engines with cast pistons are at risk for failures. For race engines, see our JE piston selection.

I got a very interesting email from XXXXX. His XXXXX Alfa….is a very fast club racecar. He ….mentioned that Motronic pistons made really good power, but had a problem with ring lands breaking. So, putting two and two together, it looks like ….we should be using your forged JE pistons.
