This 10.5:1 oversize bore kit increases displacement from 1290 to 1397cc and really brings new life to a 1300 engine.

This 8% increase in cylinder volume increase HP 8%.  The increase in compression to 10.5:1 adds another 5 HP, bringing the total gain to an estimated 14 HP. A stock 1300 twin weber engine goes from 112 HP to 126 HP. This makes a huge difference in performance.

THIS KIT CONTAINS:

• JE piston/liner set includes conventional rings, standard pins and wire locks. (SEE UPGRADE LIST)
• Bottom end gasket and seal set with Reinze head gasket (Head Gasket Down)  (See Upgrade List for complete Reinze set.) 
• Rod and main bearings-standard (oversize available extra)
• Upper and lower Iwis race/street chains (SEE UPGRADE LIST)

• Locktab Set
• Hardware Kit, 25 Each:  8 and 6mm Nuts and Washers

LINERS:

These liners are rebored from good OEM core liners. 

COMPRESSION:

• Compression of 10.5:1 is very happy with 90-93 octane fuel.
• 101 NORMALE AND 105 SERIES.  Compression of 10.5:1 is measured with standard head of 112mm height (101/105 heads) 
• 101  VELOCE compression will be 11.5:1 because these heads are actually just Normale heads milled 1.0mm (.040″) by the factory.
