15# LIGHTER THAN OEM CAST IRON

  • For all 1.3 ,1.6 ,1.8 engines fitted with 1750/2000 gearbox with hydraulic bell housings.
  • It mounts a light weight (1989-1994 Model) 130 tooth ring gear.
  • This large ID saves 1.0# in weight over the fat small ID ring gear fitted to 1972-74 cars.
  • At only 7.5 pounds, this high quality CNC machined 6061 aluminum flywheel is 14 pounds lighter than the original cast iron unit.

Pricing does not include ring gear. 

  • European “light” steel flywheels at 16# (73kg) only shed 6# (27% reduction) from stock cast iron (22#) for not much performance gain.
  • For top performance, our 13.5# lighter than stock (61% reduction) aluminum flywheel delivers significant increase in acceleration.

NOTE: This flywheel cannot be fitted with the old 72-74 130-tooth ring gear with small ID. Only 190-1994 Spiders and Twin Spark engines came with this large ID 1# lighter weight unit.
